“We stayed in this comfortable cabin on our way home from a family wedding in upstate NY. We live in the White Mountains of NH and wanted to do some hiking in the Adirondacks. Pretty rainy, but we did manage one hike and a short walk on nature trails on Lake Placid. The cabin was just as advertised—cozy, quiet and great location to access trails. Also a nice porch for sitting outside and avoiding the rain drops. Happy to have a Scrabble game to use in the evenings. Highly recommend ”

“We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!”

“I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful……

“We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! House was clean, quite, and private -- just what we want when coming to the ADKs.Only 1 thing to note: the house was a bit dusty in spots, and the water took about 30 minutes to turn over. “This place was perfect for our ski and snowboard trip to Whiteface. Close to the mountain for us to get in early. We used each room and all my friends were very comfortable.
