The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.”

“We had a great time in Lake Placid. The apartment is beautiful, clean and perfect for our family of 4. It was only a 5 minute drive to the busy downtown restaurant and shops. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning since we were there for a lacrosse tournament in the summer. They had fans and it cooled down pretty well in the evening. I understand that air conditioning isn’t needed for the majority of the year in Lake Placid. This owners seemed great too - We would definitely……

The rental is also within 30 minutes of EVERYTHING. Also if you’re looking for a FANTASTIC hike 3 minutes down the road, try out Jay mountain. Tough, but you won’t regret it”

“The Lakeside Apartment was the perfect place for our family during our December ski vacation! It is pet-friendly with an efficient layout, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with radiant heated flooring, comfortable beds and thoughtful accoutrements. There was plenty of parking, and the location was perfect for dog walks and runs near the lake. The property manager was quite responsive and very friendly. We would be happy to stay here again!”

We appreciated having the variety of amenities to be easily able to prepare our own food. A great space for our family of 4. Very convenient location, just a short walk over the hill through a lovely neighborhood to get to town. Highly recommend this place! ”
