“This property was pretty much as described, and view was nice. It IS up 2 flights of very narrow stairs, not regulation size so had to tread carefully but otherwise fine. PROs: VERY convenient location, walking distance to hockey arena, downtown, restaurants and the walking path around the lake. “We had a lovely stay here. The lodging was very clean and has been beautifully decorated and renovated. All of the amenities we needed were readily available. Location was fantastic, within walking distance of Main St. in Lake Placid and driving distance to many trailheads for hiking. The patio and outdoor fireplace were a bonus.
