“The pod is in an amazing location but unfortunately needs a lot of work to make it worth the money! The pod is located down a driveway with no direction whatsoever, luckily a gentleman was there to show us where to go. A lot of groundwork going on which made it very dirty with uneven ground. The steps up to the pod were rotten. The toilet/shower door wouldn’t close as the hinges were bent. There isn’t much privacy in the toilet a small curtain or blind wouldn’t go a miss. It needs a good clean……

“It was a lovely location and we loved how unusal the property was. However, the kitchen equipment was poor. We couldnt cook a breakfast as there was only a wok (which stuck badly) and a tiny saucepan. There was a log burner but no wood supplied which was a shame and only half a loo roll supplied for a two night stay. Would this put us off. No, we would just bring our own utensils next time. ”

“This beautiful old hotel has been kept in excellent condition with tasteful modernizations. Shower was super with lovely fluffy towels! Beautiful countryside setting. Staff are friendly and helpful :) And the dinners were delicious. ”

“Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful; breakfast was an order the day before option but a good selection and of good size and reasonable quality. The day I had to leave before breakfast time a bacon sandwich was made for me and available for me to take on my early departure. A nice touch was the complementary biscuits, bottled water and hot chocolate sachets in the room were replenished daily. “Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side……

“The stay was very enjoyable. Cottage had everything you could think of lovely touches, e.g bottle of wine, water milk etc. Deco was fabulous and great that it was dog friendly. Would most definitely here again and recommend this to friends and family.”

“The cottage was well located, well equipped and had some lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee provided. Our children enjoyed meeting the various animals and the setting was very convenient and quiet. We were however disappointed to find on arrival that the previous occupants dog’s excrement hadn’t been cleared from the garden, a task we had to undertake before allowing our dog out (and there was more than one!). “Had an amazing stay at the aladdin safari tent beds were really comfy was spotlessly clean had everything you needed washing machine, dishwasher, fridgefreezer, bbq kids had a ball of a time we did not leave the tent during our stay as we enjoyed so much, only downside was couldnt watch cinema screen until dark as sun was reflecting on it and couldnt see anything x”
