“This spot was exactly as pictured. Clean, modern, with luxury finishes. Residence was on a quiet street and very close toTulane University, downtown and the French Quarters. There was plenty of room for the two of us,. We loved the kitchenette area that was fully stocked, had a full refrigerator, toaster oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc. Bathroom was luxurious and we enjoyed having a washer & dryer. “The location was perfect for why we were in NOLA - 1.5 miles from the SuperDome. PROs: Nice house, good rooms, lots of space, good private parking, nice pool area, comfortable beds. CONs: There is no dining room and no real place to sit and hang out as a group. Pool and hot tub were not heated, and when we called, they said they'd fix it, but they didn't. “Very nicely decorated and furnished, easy and close street parking. Good neighborhood with restaurants, grocery stores nearby, and a coffee shop one block away. The only possible negative is that one room has a bed that is probably 4 feet off the floor, and is a problem for people with disabilities or elderly to get in and out of, and also for small children. ”

The only thing I wish was different was having one more bathroom in the downstairs room that holds 4 people. They had to walk up 2 flights of stairs for a shower. “Five adults, three teens and two dogs were all happy in this house. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs so there was plenty of room to spread out. It was very easy and convenient to hop the streetcar right across the street and ride to the French Quarter and the WW2 museum. It was nice to chill out on the front porch while the dogs enjoyed the enclosed yard. The decor was fun and not like anything we'd ever experienced before. Definitely made our time in New Orleans very special. The host……

“The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and off street parking right at the front door. The stairs were a little steep (which was not an issue for us) and my husband and son had to be careful not to bump heads on the ceiling when going up! The host is wonderful and the neighborhood was fine but we never walked anywhere from the house. Streets are under construction but hopefully done soon.
