“We did have an issue with the heating in the room, it was freezing, after we complained the manger suggested we went out for a pre booked appointment and upon return he would have it sorted We returned to find the room was still cold, we were immediately offered an upgrade to a much bigger suite in a differing part of the hotel. Well done to the staff ”

“The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! They then had to go out for batteries as nobody could get it to work! There were thick cobwebs around one of the pictures but the room was……

“Nice period hotel, with lots of period features, very comfortable in a quiet location with plenty of off street parking. Great friendly staff. Nice bar with plenty of choice of food & drinks. Will certainly use again.”
