“A lovely room: clean, quiet, and spacious. Amenities are basic, but everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. It seems the simplicity allows them to focus on what really matters. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t try the breakfast. “Great option close to south shore line East Chicago station. Staff were all great especially the breakfast attendants. They were very friendly and had a great selection of cold and hot food. Room was in good shape and clean other a than a few stains in the carpet. Bathroom was in good shape. You can tell this hotel is well managed and is a great economical option for visiting Chicago from the east. I would stay again. ”

“This hotel cost is fraction of those in downtown Chicago. It is also conveniently located between Michigan and Chicago. 35-min drive to downtown Chicago. Save time to drive back to Michigan. Breakfast is very simple with limited items. I wish they offer Oatmeal rather than Grits. ”
