“I had an excellent stay at this cottage. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with so much thought put into the little details. I loved finding charging cables available in every room, speaker boxes for music, and a very well-equipped kitchen that had everything I needed.As I was traveling with my dog, I really appreciated the thoughtful touches for pets, bowls, poop bags, and even a leash were provided, which made things so easy. “What a little gem! We enjoyed peace and quiet and had a lovely rest at the Lakeside Retreat. We were spoiled by our host Donna who is very caring and her place were fully stock with everything you need. It was very clean and spacious for a couple to enjoy a quick get away for a week or weekend. Donna we will be back, thank you very much for checking on us often to make sure we have what we needed. “The house was clean and very nice. Check in was easy and there were clear written instructions for almost everything. I did struggle with how to operate the ceiling fan and light that hangs from the center of the home, but we figured it out eventually. There was the maintenance issue of a large branch hanging down from the tree overhanging the driveway. I ended up taking this down myself as I would not have been able to park if I did not.”
