“Went with a friend for three nights. Stayed in the Villa Suite. It's lovely. I called ahead and reserved the lakefront view. Two bedrooms. Two kitchens. Electric fireplace. Everything you could need for a family trip to use the plentiful amenities. Even a washer and dryer. We swam in the indoor pool. It was clean. The suite was clean. The elevator worked. “The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit.……

“A lovely cozy cabin just perfect for relaxing. You can sit in front of the beautiful stone fireplace, hang out on the huge deck, or take a soak in the jetted tub. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, pot and pans, enough cutlery, dishes, mugs and glassware. It was really nice to bring along the pup and have him feel welcomed by the hosts rather than a burden. I really appreciated the firewood on site and the local restaurant and activities recommendations too! Do be advised that this cabin……

“Beautiful area in the Galena Territory. House was clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently. We enjoyed the hot tub after shopping and sight seeing all day. Had a wonderful long weekend with family . Would stay here again!”

“House was nice, well kept, clean. Locatation was fantastic. The walk to the main road where the stores and resturaunts are is really not bad, just involves some steps. The house really has a country feel to it, even though you have neighbors close by. The surrounding woods give you the rural feeling and we saw so many deer on and around the property. I really had no communication with the property manager so I cant comment of that but did not need to, everything was perfect. Only issue I……

“The home was as listed. We enjoyed our time and the privacy the home provided. The home was clean, larger than it appears in photos and worked very well for 3 families (14 people) to stay. The kids enjoyed time in the coach house next door. We didn't get to use the hot tub but they enjoyed sledding down the hill in the front yard. There was plenty of cups and dishes for everyone. The owner was accommodating with our check in/out needs. Also, lots to look at throughout the house, it made for lots……
