“Great location about 10 to 15 minutes drive from La Fortuna. There is a great breakfast/ lunch place nearby however as well as some small Supers. The place itself is excellent with comfortable beds and good showers. It was just me and my partner and it would be ideal for two couples. The hot tub is also very good and the view of Arenal from the balcony is fantastic. I would recommend having a small 4x4 for the gravel roads up to the property and around the area.Thanks for having us in this……

“The hospitality of Patrick and his wife left us spoiled for the remainder of our trip. Every day there was a friendly check in text to make sure we weee having the time of our lives and a request on what we could help book reservations for incredible dinners. House was beautiful, magnificent breakfast and all around fantastic place to stay. Book it! You won’t regret it!”

“Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend……

“Our stay at Casa Colibri was absolutely wonderful with plenty of room for our family to stretch out and a beautiful pool and gorgeous property. Our hosts were very accommodating. Everything was super clean and we had a wonderful experience taking small adventures and coming back to relax at this beautiful home. “This was a quick in and out for us, just stayed so we would have time in La Fortuna and at Arenal. The home was minimal but just what we needed. The grounds were actually quite lovely, would have explored more if we had stayed longer. Check in and out was easy.”

“This property was absolutely magical! At the price point I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it was even better than the photos appeared. The host was very reachable and helpful. The property was gorgeous and felt like a dream. We saw to and on the way in, heard howler monkeys once in the morning, and had a tree frog in our hot tub with us. “My husband and teenage son and myself had the most enjoyable time. We were greeted with a warm Pure Vida welcome and given recommendations. We had a wonderful time and loved the property. We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay at a big resort. Total local vibe and immersed in the culture. Gracious and Pure Vida!”

“This beautiful unique house is in a wonderful country setting. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo while a horse watched me. The area restaurants were very good and either walkable or a short drive. We also enjoyed water activities on the nearby lake.”

“My family and I had a great stay at Magnalia House. The house and detached pool cabana were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Highlight is definitely the soaking pool in backyard. The area around the pool was comfortable, and beautifully landscaped, giving a feeling of complete privacy even though you are in a neighborhood.
