“Nice private villas in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the north and west side of the island with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Staff here very friendly and helpulful. Earplugs a requirment (provided at the villa) for the very early morning call to prayer from the Mosque. I am sure this will aplly to any accomodation on the island. “If you are going to Gili stay here. Its located in the middle of the island and with complementary bikes and easy 5 minute ride will get you everywhere. I definitely recommend renting a bicyle to get around the island because you get to explore much more. “I chose this hotel because it’s so close to the harbor and my kid could get 10 more minutes sleep on the day for our speed boat trip. But the prayer at 4:00 am was rather loud, I respect the culture but … then actually my kid had a lot less sleep! Great location and would normally be okay

"Was ok until the unfortunate passengers who’d been rerouted from Bali all descended on our hotel. The hotel was just not capable of dealing with such demand and traffic so service was incredibly slow and disorganised. They ran out of food and they ran out of alcohol."

Not a five star hotel

"I chose this hotel because it’s so close to the harbor and my kid could get 10 more minutes sleep on the day for our speed boat trip. But the prayer at 4:00 am was rather loud, I respect the culture but … then actually my kid had a lot less sleep! And then 6:00am, crazy loud music was playing across the street (we were on the hill side). I left the fruit from breakfast box in the fridge and at night, papaya was molded! Breakfast on 6th floor was not organized. I ordered a latte and need to go get my coffee at the bar or it will never be my turn! Finally, I dialed to the front desk, and no one ever pick up!"
