“Absolutely loved this hotel, sadly only stayed a couple of nights. The location is stunning and it's the perfect location to relax by the infinity pool. The food at the restaurant is amazing too and there is happy hour between 5-6pm every day with delicious cocktails that can be enjoyed by the pool. It feels very luxurious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I suppose the only downside is that there aren't enough sun loungers if the hotel is busy, and the WiFi can be a bit patchy. “Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields. “The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap”

Everyone was happy staying in the lodge!

"It was a fantastic experience staying at the lodge! Surrounded by wildlife animals every moment! Didn’t expect to hear lion’s roar while resting in the bed! They even provided carrots in room to let us feed the animals from the balcony! Dinning with lion was also exciting, the lions were very active and came close to the guests to interact! The staffs were super friendly they even surprised us with a birthday cake! The room was spacious and well maintained! Everyone was happy staying in the lodge. "
