“Overall, a very well managed hotel. The inn keeper was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
Location is great along the main road. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient and there were plenty of spots when we traveled.
Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean.
In the bathroom, the sink was about the size as you would expect on a boat, very skinny and difficult to keep water from splashing everywhere. The shower was very nice, but……

“This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. “This is a waterfront property. We had a room with a private bathroom and the view of the loch. Gorgeous picture to wake up to. Bar downstairs did not bother us at all even we slept with open windows ( no air conditioning). Room was clean and bigger than in some European hotels we stay. Staff is friendly. The communal kitchen downstairs has refrigerators for guests and fully equipped. Also it is fridge with a food you can buy. The only negative experience is someone decided to smoke at 5 am right……

“This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The condition of the room was extremely poor and absolutely not worth the price. What was most unacceptable was that the room I was given looked nothing like the photos shown on the booking website. “Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. “Amazing country manor! Gracious rooms. Wonderful staff. Delicious breakfast! Very close to Oban. Quiet!
The only slight I had was the over abundance of smell. Each area has reed diffusers and it is a lot of smell. As someone sensitive to that it was a bit much. I put our reed diffuser in a closet and then it was fine.
Would I recommend this to friends? 1000%! You have to see it to believe it. Absolutely amazing! ”
