"The hotel itself is great, but this time the experience was terrible. We stayed in Room 656, and from 1 AM to 4 AM, there was constant noise and commotion next door. It seemed like someone was drunk, and they were banging on the walls the whole time. I couldn't sleep at all throughout the night.
The next day, I went to the front desk to negotiate a solution. I asked for a refund since I didn't sleep at all, and I didn't even request any additional compensation. The front desk staff seemed to agree and said it was possible, but they needed Expedia to contact their hotel because Expedia was the one who charged me. So I had to leave the hotel and try to contact Expedia. The result? The hotel refused to refund me. This means that not only did I not get any sleep, but I was also deceived by the hotel. What a "wonderful" experience."
"I stayed in The Horton Grand for six nights from 8/16 till 8/22 in 2024. Unbelievably, my room (#321) did not have a refrigerator, although two staff members at the front desk (reception) claimed that every room had one. I remember several years ago before the pandemic my room did have a microwave oven and a refrigerator when I stayed in the same hotel."
