“We stayed here for two nights. Very charming hotel. It looks and feels like a manor house. We really enjoyed our stay there and liked our room. Very comfortable and clean. No air conditioning but there are plenty of windows that open and a lovely fresh breeze comes in. The room has a kettle and tea making as well as a safe. Power outlet next to the bed which is of course handy for charging your phone at night. It is a large room with a lounge area. Breakfast is good. Especially the scrambled……

“The reception staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charger at home and they lent me one for the weekend. The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). “Location is great for the town and if you cant find any parking on the street there is a carpark about 5min walk away @ £3 - 24hrs.
Property is currently up for sale and needs a little work but the bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and everything else has had a lick of paint just needs a bit of modernising and the garden needs work and isnt secure at the back meaning the dog needed to be let out on a lead every time but did us for the short break we had.”
