“Cool, historic inn in a beautiful part of Charleston. Richard was a gracious host, and we enjoyed wine and charcuterie on the porch. A note re: our room. We booked a room that was on the "ground" floor, which was more or less the basement or carriage house floor. It was fine, but I envisioned something a little different. Also, as we were drifting off to sleep, there was a sound in the walls that sounded like scratching...almost like an animal was in the walls. But, all in all, we enjoyed……

“This was our first stay here, and I chose it based on customer satisfaction. Our stay is on a Thursday night so not sure how the weekend would be, but it is very quiet here. We are staying here so we can go to Folly beach tomorrow. Check-in was excellent, room is very nice, soaker tub was great. I love how even though the sitting area is not is a separate room it is still layer out to feel separate. We did not eat in restaurants, so I cannot rate it. I will look no further the next time we……

“The stay was amazing! Since we checked in, the front desk was so nice, handed us water and asked about my rewards to get Hilton points. The room was spotless and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. The room smelled clean, the sheets and pillows all smelled clean. I would definitely stay here again! ”

“Good basic hotel. Tub needs to be updated. Bedroom a bit small for the furniture! Maybe a wall tv would be better so you could walk to the other side of the bed. Front desk staff were very nice. ”

“It was in a good location, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was above average and well managed. The facility could move to 5 stars with a little update, inside and around pool area. We would stay there again without hesitation!”

“I did like this property. It's close to downtown by car, and they do have shuttles going to convenient locations. The staff really went above and beyond during a power outage at the property. Every one was incredibly friendly. It's in kind of an odd location, literally in the middle of route 17. To leave, you have to make a fairly dangerous turn into very fast traffic. Room was fine, and clean, with a nice view. ”
