A few days before I checked but couldn’t upgrade without forfeiting the full room rate because booked non-refundable. It’s not like I was cancelling, I was upgrading. Hotel couldn’t do anything about it because I booked through Expedia.”

“We had a maintenance issue in our room. There wasn’t a solution that could work. Face it, not everything is always perfect, but that is why you have customer service. When there is an issue rational people wonder how they will make it right. Staff tried to address it. Management backed them up. And the situation was made right. ”
