“This was the perfect house for us; myself, my 3 adult children and a couple of fiancées. Plenty of room for everyone. Love the porch and outdoor shower. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Jimmy was very responsive and communication was easy. Really like that good beach chairs were provided. House was clean and everything worked. No issues. Highly recommend for an enjoyable Folly Beach vacation. ”

Check in and check out was incredibly easy. The elevator was a super plus for our group! The walk to the beach is super easy with access across the street! “This was the perfect rental for my family of 8 - age range from 3 to 63, and our dog.The property was well maintained, and completely stocked with everything you could want. Perfectly outfitted kitchen with a killer view of the private - yes I said privet - lake. We watched herons and spoonbills feed daily from the windows and the spacious deck.That deck was 3 stories and you got a great view of the ocean and killer sunrises and sunsets from the top!All that plus the beach is just a couple……

“Lovely home in great location! Two blocks from the beach, five blocks to town of Folly Beach, and 20 minutes to Charleston. There was a big storm on the day of arrival which, I assume, knocked out hot water, hot tub and ice maker. Was not repaired for 3 days. There was a very indifferent Carolina One agent on the phone call. This is the reason for 4 instead of 5 review”

“We were 4 friends of a certain age and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Northstar. Our goal was to be as close as possible to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve which NS was perfect for. Our only complaint was the lack of shade on the deck until late afternoon. We brought our own unbrellas, but they didn't hold up very well in the wind. Would definately rent again.”
