“So clean, all furnishings new, everything you need. Be advised this is a renovated garage, not a cottage. No natural light. We could hear people coming and going in the main house. It worked for us, but if you want total privacy this isn't the place for you.t the place for you.if ”

“We were coming to the area to help out with some relatives kids. We asked the owners if this would be okay and they quickly replied that it was. The boy wants us to stay here if we ever visit again. Dan and Shannon are some of the friendliest helpful hosts that we’ve met. Shannon’s mother lives on the property and is also lovely. She invited the boy to swing. As noted in the description, the kitchen and shower are outside so exposed to nature and such. Dan even took the time to write some notes……

“Glad to see that this spacious old cottage was more restored than remodeled. All the conveniences of today's living but sunrise view over the little is to die for. The southbound train across the lake tooting his whistle at 6:36am was a classic alarm to get the day in gear. Nice 3 nite stay for us even though our schedule prevented us from enjoying what surely would be a relaxing cup of coffee on the front-porch as the sun rose over the water ”

“We adored our time away at this adorable cabin! All the little details make the cabin cute and cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable, the grounds were beautiful and safe to explore, the owner was extremely kind and responsive. We found a local place that sold duck eggs and another that sold local honey. We enjoyed the firepit outside, stargazing, and sipping coffee on the front porch. We would definitely book again!”

“We really enjoyed the tour of the farm and all the animals. The host and hostess couldn’t have been nicer. Love the grill and backyard area. Kitchen had everything we needed. The property is lush with beautiful palm tree trees, and flowering trees.”

“House was exactly as described, very cute. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook. Nice sized porch in the back and a dock to enjoy the outdoors, added bonus was big traeger pellet grill to use. ”

"👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was outdated, poorly designed, unclean, and had an unbearable odor. I stayed for just one night and checked out the next morning. However, right after returning my room key and getting into my car to leave, a male staff member suddenly knocked on my window and arrogantly asked if I still had a room. I told him I stayed there last night but had already checked out. He rudely demanded that I leave immediately. This behavior was highly inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable. Being driven away just minutes after checking out, without being given adequate time to organize and leave, showed a complete lack of respect for guests. I’ve stayed at many hotels but have never experienced such rude service. If you plan to stay at this hotel, be prepared to leave immediately after checkout, or you may face the same unpleasant treatment."
