While I understand these are very old cottages, the cottages have NOT been maintained to a habitable condition. We stayed only because we had no where else to go. “Our cottage was dirty. It had a bad odor. The air conditioners were dirty and moldy. There was a mouse which we caught in a trap. Laundry room was totally inadequate. There were gaps between the boards in the floor where you could see to the dirt. The owner was not helpful or nice! She was rather nasty, in fact. The pictures were like glamour shots. Not what it really looked like. I took pictures that show how it really looked. No one would be enticed by those pictures. Avoid this place!”

“We stayed in the cottages of IndianRiver lagoon waterfront cottages March 1-31 The cottages are quaint and cute . They are perfect for a couple or small families . If the cottage walls could speak, I am sure we would hear great stories of their 80 year history. The grounds are beautiful with walk ways and palm trees and flowering bushes. “Very moldy and mildewy cheap furniture, shower curtains, and mattress. Windows filthy and some inoperable. Porch screen had a hole they refused to fix. Bathroom sink did not drain. Kitchen was clean and all appliances worked well. Great concept, grounds, and dock. Guests were very nice.”

“Ordering the room, communication and unlocking the door on the first try was a very easy process. The room and property was exactly what I expected it to be. The location and proximity to local restaurants, bars, shops and activities was perfect. Our experience overall could not have been better. We had a wonderful time and would certainly do it again. The only issue was the bathroom sink drained very slowly, which made it difficult to efficiently shave and brush our teeth. Then we would also……

“It was very quaint and perfect for me. I needed a place for a little over a week while my apartment is undergoing construction and this was a nice getaway that was perfect for me and my 2 cats. Great cable options, movies, comfy bed, coffee. I was impressed! ”
