“There are a lot of things to love about this lake home. The location is fantastic, a beautiful view of Garrison Lake, close to activities in Port Orford and a nice home base to explore the area. The road is very quiet and private and it was so peaceful to wake up to the sounds of nature all around. The house is well outfitted with supplies and the beds are comfortable. “Upon arrival in Port Orford, we quickly realized this house was exactly where we would want to be for our stay. The views of the port were spectacular and unobstructed. The house was clean and spacious, bedding was comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped - easily accommodating large family meals. For meals out, we enjoyed casual fare (burgers, prawn basket, etc.) at the Dive Grub Pub and elegant dinners (martinis, steak, cod, etc.) at Redfish. Both offered something for everyone,……

“Overall, we really liked this rental. It was spotlessly clean, although we did find a number of maintenance issues that need to be addressed like a leak under the kitchen sink, a slow drain, partially rotted door sill. We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood. The view from upstairs was lovely, and we sat upstairs every evening to take in the view and enjoy our wine. We found the beds to be very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.”
