“The Orcas Hotel is for people who like the charm of past century architecture and conditions and don't mind paying an arm and leg for it. I was desperate for accommodations for a couple of nights at the peak of summer, so grabbed the couple of nights available here. The first night I payed $195 for a bed, bath, TV and floor fan. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. ”

“This property provided a rich experience for a family gathering. We loved the opportunities to share the fun of gathering eggs, picking fresh vegetables, and then making a meal using them. The kitchen is outfitted with the finest appliances and equipment. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, and linens. We marveled at the woodworking throughout the house --- sturdy, honest and refined. There is a heartwarming fireplace with plenty of cut wood for late night adult conversations. The house……
