“Great location for Fern Canyon and Redwoods trip. Very well stocked and newly remodeled. Owner was prompt with their reply to my questions. Elk right down the road; evidence they were on this property but we didn’t see any this time.”

The house was fully stocked and had all the amenities you could ask for. We greatly enjoyed the view, the campfire, and relaxing hot tub. Absolutely wonderful experience...hope to return soon!”

“Really enjoyed staying in this former chapel, the former St Thomas church AFAIK. Neat and tidy, well appointed and provisioned. We chose to sleep on the murphy bed. Great place to stay if you're visiting Redwoods State and National Parks. We saw a herd of Elk at the Orick elementary school yard during calving season - it was magical.”

“We had a great experience staying at the Coastal Farmhouse. It’s so close to Prairie Creek Redwoods! We spent our first 3 days hiking various trails and basking in the beauty of the Redwoods. It’s truly breathtaking. We took the bikes to the ocean which the “kids” labeled the bone yard because of the incredible amount of washed up trees and branches there. You do need to walk over those to get to the beach/ocean. Again just amazing. Plenty of activities and games provided to play in the……

“This is a very nice home, very well stocked with everything you need to make meals, there is a wonderful pool and beautiful landscaping. The home has a great air conditioning system in every room, pet friendly, and decks all around home. You can barbecue on a good grill. Owner available but respectful of privacy and provides a nice welcome basket and even flowers! We will definitely be returning. ”
