“Great location. Very old camp that was pretty clean despite the age...except for the carpeting. Walkway into the camp just an uphill, rocky path. Quite hazardous, especially if wet. Also challenging to get luggage up, especially for older adults or anyone with mobility issues Needs improvement”

“Great location to Freeport shopping. Very clean and responsive staff and management. Fun for families with children. We would have liked more room inbetween cabins, but otherwise would highly recommend.”

“We loved this cottage! It was so quaint and charming and perfect for our family. The fans and the screens in the windows were lifesavers as we hit some hot weather while staying here. We loved the location, as well as the view over the water. Absolutely wonderful and we would stay here again!”

“Lovely place to stay. Serene.A bit of a walk north from the ferry, worth the scenery along the way though and would be very quick with a bike, golf cart or car.Hope to be back soon ! ”

“It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat……

“It was nice to have a place to gather instead of spending the money for a hotel, but it wasn't as comfortable. I understand that you don't want to ruin furniture when you are renting out to people, because you just never know, but there really wasn't any comfortable seating in the den and everything is so low. I will say that the beds were the very comfortable, not hard or soft, but just right. The house was a quiet area with plenty of appliances, but we had issues with the TV and could only……

“Great location, beautiful views the electric features needs “ Attention “ to prevent an accident. ( floor lamp next to chimney, lamp outside bathroom (hallway) brown lamp in bookcase doesn’t work. Outdoor grill needs replacement parts, new burner on the right side. Everything else great !”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.”

“Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! ”
