“My friends and I really enjoyed this lovely home. The host graciously provided fresh fruits and a jar of local jam that was delicious! The drive to Liberty Mountain wasn’t bad at all, only about 15 mins. We really appreciated our host salting the driveway our last morning there, before checking out, after getting a little wintry mix overnight. ”

“My daughter and I stayed at the Springhouse and it was an awesome experience. The house has a ton of character and the property is beautiful even in the winter. We also enjoyed the PA Dutch market which is only a few mins down the road.”

“Close to home but far enough to leave worries behind. We checked out local breweries and all were delicious with great atmosphere. Dinner in Emmitsburg was divine and they even gave me a single red rose for Valentine's. We loved the history and charm, the property for walking, and we played some of the very old board games in the home. The owner was very responsive and helpful with navigating the snowy driveway and cleared a path to the door! We reccommend highly and will definitely return!”
