“The property was private and perfect as a home base for our vacation. We hiked at Watkins Glen, Buttermilk Falls, and Taughannock Falls, spent a day at Corning Glass, and another day at Cornell’s botanical gardens, arboretum and art museum, visited wineries and even a found a cheese tasting—all of this within easy driving distance from the house. Many hosts are in the business to make money with as little attention to detail as possible, but this was not the case with Lindsey. We were greeted……

“The location was convenient for the three places we were visiting - Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Corning. Plenty of space, and comfortable as well. The layout of Unit 2 is a little tough to discern from the pictures, but you walk in the front door to the kitchen/dining/living, with the bathroom and bedroom behind. Then downstairs to another "family room" with a larger TV. There is a little noise from the upstairs neighbor, mostly due to the age of the house and wooden floors, but otherwise quiet.……

“My husband and I stayed here for a short trip to spend some time at lake Cayuga and go hiking. The space was comfortable, and clean. Great outside space, our dog loved watching the birds and deer come around. Kitchen is well supplied, which we took advantage of and cooked for ourselves. Easy quick drives to Ithaca, lake Cayuga, and multiple waterfall hikes. It was a very relaxing trip- just what we needed!! ”

“This stay was exactly what our group was looking for! We had a group of 12 visiting Ithaca for our 10-year college reunion. The houses 6 bedrooms fit us very comfortably and the living space was more than big enough to accommodate all of us. And we definitely took advantage of the fire pit and jacuzzi to get the whole group of us outside to enjoy the beautiful nature that the area has to offer. The house is in a nice neighborhood, but the backyard provides plenty of privacy from the neighbors. I……

We wanted to hike some of the surrounding falls and explore a bit, and Scottland yard property was the perfect place to come “home” to. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the animals they have on the property. Will try and make it back!”
