“We had an amazing time! Scottland Yard Farm is a hand made thoughtful gem of a place to stay. The wildflowers and animals make it feel like a fairy tale. Our kids loved the pool and feeding the koi fish. The beds were comfortable, but we did need to bring two twin size air mattresses to accommodate our family. These fit easily in the loft. The whole place would be great to rent with other families for a joint vacation or event. Thank you Duane and Andrea for an unforgettable experience.”

“I loved the ambiance this place had. The gorgeous church really made us feel love upon seeing the grandeur upon first entering. We continued to love it with the nice air-conditioning, snacks, coffee, and comfortable beds. I love that the integrity of the church had been maintained in the remodeling, too. “My mom and I went to Candor to visit her hometown and childhood friends and we chose this location to stay in Spencer. It is within a beautifully and well kept historic property. While there are other units we had our own dedicated space and we wouldn’t have known anyone else was there. Conveniently located next to Nickals park and Lake which was beautiful and has a convenient little mile hiking trail around he water. The diner down the block and the pizzeria are delicious! “Old huge house. Description noted AC- it was only small portable units that were not sufficient for the large space. The stairs to access the 2nd floor unit were actually 17 steep stairs. Then 14 more steep stair to get to the 3rd floor bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom had no blinds- felt exposed at night with lights on. The owners were very kind and did try to make amends for the lack of AC. They also helped carry our belongings up the stairs. Was okay but would not book again due to the stairs.……

“The place look older with three different floors. The first level had 3 rooms for each tenant but have to share the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The furniture is outdated but you have a couches and dining table. The 55 inch TV has cable but very limited channels. You have tenants living upstairs and in the basement but they have their own code and access to their respective floors. The place could utilize some updates but it’s worth the price to stay if you were by yourself. The landlord……
