“My mom and I went to Candor to visit her hometown and childhood friends and we chose this location to stay in Spencer. It is within a beautifully and well kept historic property. While there are other units we had our own dedicated space and we wouldn’t have known anyone else was there. Conveniently located next to Nickals park and Lake which was beautiful and has a convenient little mile hiking trail around he water. The diner down the block and the pizzeria are delicious! I would definitely……

“I was in town for the Elmira Country Club best Ball tournament. House was well appointed and several cold waters in the fridge was a very nice touch. House was quite spacious and even had a washer and dryer. I would certainly stay again. ”

“Old huge house. Description noted AC- it was only small portable units that were not sufficient for the large space. The stairs to access the 2nd floor unit were actually 17 steep stairs. Then 14 more steep stair to get to the 3rd floor bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom had no blinds- felt exposed at night with lights on. The owners were very kind and did try to make amends for the lack of AC. They also helped carry our belongings up the stairs. Was okay but would not book again due to the stairs.……

“Wanda is lovely and helpful. Breakfast was AmAZING! Homemade jam and blintzes, fresh bread, eggs and bacon, Russian pancakes, vegetables from her garden, coffee and tea all on gorgeous Polish painted ceramics. The main house of the B&B and breakfast room are stunningly beautifully decorated. The Japanese suite was very nice. Well-stocked, nicely decorated and clean though jacuzzi is not brand new in this room. The rooms in the main house, the Polish, African, and Russian rooms are Absolutely……

“The apartment is truly nice, with well thought-out details everywhere. The owners were great, and responded really quickly to all questions. As it's a basement unit, it's a little bit on the noisy side, but the outdoors separate area was truly great and we enjoyed it enormously!!!”
