“This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature……

I loved opening up all the windows, the fresh air was great. “Room was clean and fresh. Bed very comfortable. Met a wonderful kind young woman named Ruth, who made our experience wonderful. She helped us select a delicious local wine. Jonathan, our host was very accommodating and helped us get settled. Had a wonderful bonfire outside too! We drove and were able to park on site. (Not very good signage to locate entrance, but we found it.) Could hear dogs barking during the night. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great,……
