“Simply WOW! It is a beautiful hotel….book ahead during the peak travel season to get on the guided tour. We did the self guided tour which was very good, but a great tour guide would have filled in little bits and pieces …..plus I think there’s a haunted walk component to it! If you get a chance book Room 304 as it’s a corner room on the top floor and the ONLY one with an additional window with a decent view (4 windows versus just 3). “The actual property location on Expedia is incorrect, only when receiving the Sykes confirmation was the correct location stated. I messaged the property owner via Expedia to request a cancellation but received no reply. The chalet is fairly dated but clean. WiFi has to be paid for at £10 a week which seems a bargain until you realise it’s unusable most of the time.
