“We had a very late arrival and found the place after much difficulty. However the host was thorough in getting us checked in. The room was very cold, although a bedroom heater was beginning to warm us up. Just as we were settling in we discovered a water leak in the bathroom. Called the host who sent someone over right away. Unfortunately we had to change rooms and again everything was stone cold. Beds were comfy and clean. Old Sicilian house is charming. “Our stay at Villa Paladino Solunto was excellent! Marida was a wonderful host- she was very responsive and available to answer any of our questions. The accommodation was beautiful and included everything we could possibly need. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool was just as refreshing as it was lovely with an amazing panoramic view. The property was secure and quiet but within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and to the train station! And lastly, meeting……

“Sicily is an amazing town but the accomodation at the villa was the worst ever. Starting with the basic cleaning status of the villa, the toilet is teribble very very old . The shower is compeltely rusted.. there is no garabage bin (which is considered a basic thing). The surrounding area without a car is unsafe due to dangerous free dogs, although we were not informed about that. The tenant is not honest at all especially regarding electricity consumption.
