“The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach.”

The host was attentive and helpful with everything we needed. We loved the location, walking distance from the beach. Highly recommend this property.”

“We picked this stay because of its proximity to the airport. It was a nice surprise. The room had character—woodwork, tiles, brick arched ceiling. It was near beaches and many restaurants! We were not offered breakfast because of an early departure.”

“Great location to base yourself in Palermo. Quiet beach within walking distance, public transit nearby or a short driving into the center of the city. Quiet estate with a large pool to relax in after a long day walking around and a fantastic restaurant if you don't feel like going out.”
