“It is a great hotel! Very spacious room and comfortable bed. It is not close to Palermo downtown (need an hour train) but just 20 mins walk to a beautiful beach or just 5 mins walk to an average beach. For us just spent two full days in beaches so no problem with a little remote from downtown. Do call the hotel to arrange pick up in the airport as the city taxi is much more expensive.”

“The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach.”

My friend and I ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in Sicily. Especially the fact that they catered to our vegan and vegetarian dietary restrictions. “Magnifique terrasse commune avec vu sur la mer bleue, accompagné du soleil ! Petit logement suffisant pour juste dormir et faire sa toilette (frigo petit format disponible mais pas de micro-onde). Logement très bien placé à proximité des commerces. Parfois quelques perturbations rencontrées avec le voisinage du dessus mais rarement dérangeant (musique). En globalité très bien.”
