“Beautiful views when you stay at the top guesthouse. Communication was not good and transportation is limited so pre arrange. The food is good but may close early in off season. I did see a few bugs but over all the place was clean and the air from fans and AC units helped allot”

“The hotel is really beautiful, the views are amazing, the villas are very spacious and the room hat also an amazing view! everything is really clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Just FYI: you really need a 4x4 to get to the hotel. We would definitely come again!”

“Hi This place is great lots of birds at tree level and the his and hers showers are a nice touch. It's quite a walk up to some of the rooms so bear that in mind. The hotel restaurant is good and is also close to another new restaurant on the beach. The breakfast was great and the hosts were good. One the nicer places in drake bay but also slightly expensive, I will also mention the mosquito grills on the vents did let small flies in but I was at the start of the rainy season too. All great……

“We absolutely loved this place. Vayu Retreat is a very charming and quiet mini hotel with only 4 beautiful rooms, a great infinity pool, spacious terrasses to relax and a nice restaurant. “Wir waren 4 Nächte vor Ort um tauchen zu gehen, viele Tauchbasen sind in Laufnähe. Das Hotel ist neu und alle Zimmer haben eine kleine Küche mit ordentlicher Ausstattung. Es gibt keinen Herd oder Kochplatte, sondern einen elektrischen Kochtopf und eine elektrische Pfanne sowie eine Mikrowelle - für ein Frühstück hat es gereicht, richtig gekocht haben wir nicht. Die Ausstattung ist neu, aber es gibt keinerlei Dekoration sodass die Einrichtung eher schlicht wirkt. AC funktioniert super und war……

“We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights……
