“My sister and I stayed here for 10 days and had a great time. We've rented VRBOs all over the world and this one is truly one of the best. I was impressed with all the little necessities that were included -- like extra toilet paper, soap, shampoo, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, a well-equipped kitchen (although we did need a tea kettle, which we bought and "donated" to the house), great wifi and cable TV, and off-street parking. “It was a nice, clean property. Close to the expo center, pet friendly. My bed was super comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet inside even though its a busy neighborhood. My only complaints were the lock box to get the key out. I struggled with getting it open with out hurting my finger tips. And bedroom with the bink beds was a little too warm/stuffy for me even with the fans provided in it. I would definitly stay again though.”

Kitchen had nice appliances and high quality cookware, which we don't always see, and the kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked with all the personal items you might need. Hosts were extremely responsive. Only downside is, while the location is in walking distance to a lot of great things, it is a block off the main drag. “Awesome location for enjoying the barges on the river, walking to the Big Four walking bridge, and dinner in Jeffersonville! We spent most of our time on the riverside porch with a breeze! The Deaconess Guest House is well cared for and we felt welcomed by the clean, well appointed living spaces. ”
