“The lake house was absolutely wonderful! The property and lake were beautiful. It is quiet and away from everything. We were four adults and 7 teens (16-18yrs) that were there for a church youth retreat. The property met all our needs for quiet reflection as well as fun entertainment. “My wife and I stayed the weekend at this house perched above the Little Red River with a gorgeous view of the water below. The property is well-maintained and clean: updated with all the modern amenities without diminishing from the "lake cabin" vibe. Booking, check-in, and communication with the owners/managers was smooth, prompt, and easy. We really loved the place, and are so glad that we were able to be there. so PEACEFUL AND FUN!!!p.s. fishing from the large, well-furnished dock/pier……

“We had 3 adults and 7 children from 1 1/2 to 11. We enjoyed the swing in the front yard. The trail to the beach and sitting and watching the kids play in the water. We hiked trails and saw waterfalls nearby. We visited the fish hatchery and spent the afternoon at the local beach. It was a great escape. The home is absolutely wonderful. Everything you need is provided and a sweet bottle of wine was waiting. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the water toys. ”

“We had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and caught multiple trout every day. We also enjoyed playing games in the evening ( Pass the Popcorn was the favorite) and making dinner together. Loved all the seating areas and the house was comfortable, well stocked for any need and cute! Only issue we had is wifi isn't good in area at all so couldn't watch tv and my hubby had to drive to a tower to be able to work. lol We will totally be coming back for more fishing getaways. ”
