“This hotel is very new, hence everything looks very comfortable in terms of lighting, interior design, and furniture. Just a 6 minute walking distance from Santa Lucia Metro Station, 8 minute to Nepture Fountain, 10 minute to La Moneda, and 12-15 minute to Plaza de Armas, excellent location. Hotel staff was warm and lovely, the day we arrived there was pouring rain and we were soaking wet, she immediately did some arrange for us so that we could clean ourselves and freshen up. “We stayed at Lastarria Hotel & Aparts for a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There were several restaurants within walking distance along with a few shops. There is train station a few blocks away. Cerro Santa Lucia is just a few blocks away as well. We really enjoyed our stay here!! ”

“The hotel is in the condition expected for a historic building that has not had many upgrades. It is fairly comfortable and it is within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas and Casa de la Moneda. The staff is a bit forgetful and can throw your plans off. We requested for the breakfast to go on two occasions as they had offered when we checked in, but the staff forgot to request it to the kitchen and we had to purchase food elsewhere. “Decent quality for the price -- easy to walk around the downtown area and to reach the metro. Definitely would recommend.”

“There was NO HEAT! It was -2 outside and we were freezing. We had two mini portable heaters and both didn’t work. There was no hot water. The hairdryer was broken. There was no communication beforehand and check-in was a nightmare. ”
