“The stay was suspect from the start. There was no communication with the host at all until after I had already gotten access to the property by another individual staying at a property adjacent. I was a little skeptical, but the family staying in the large lake house stated that they were able to reach the host and could let me in. I did not have a back up option & with no way to contact the host directly, I really had not choice but to trust it and stay.There was no communication with the host……

“Booked a stay. Did not receive any check in details. Reached out to host via phone call and text and host phone was disconnected. Reached out on VRBO and no response. VRBO tried reaching host 2 within a 5 hour period and no response. Check in came and went, no response from host until 2 hours after check-in where host canceled reservation claiming an issue with my age, which I am well above 18 years old. Poor business practices and horrendous communication. ”

“My stay here was great. I liked how close a lot of things were and everything the property owner provided. There were things that were a little dirty (a dish and the shower), but that didn’t ruin the experience for me. There were a few spiders but that is expected when there’s a huge forest around. When I needed help, getting in contact with someone was very easy. I definitely would stay here again!”
