“The room was a lot more spacious than I anticipated and everything was very clean. There was some music playing upstairs but it was quiet by nighttime. Check in and check out was very straightforward. Turning into the driveway was a bit difficult when the highway was crowded but was otherwise easy to find ”

“Beautiful property is in a safe walkable area near restaurants and shops. Off street parking was easy to find. Lovely garden path leads you to the front door. Interior flight of curved/circular stairs takes you up one flight to door. Maybe tricky for someone with mobility issues. Bedrooms and one bath were clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with the essentials including soaps, hair dryer and tissues. Kitchen was bright. Please note there is minimal counter space but well stocked……

“John’s apartment is lovely. It has the charm of a historical home (hello wide pine floors!) with the comfort and ease of more modern touches where necessary, like the bathroom and kitchen. Super clean and organized. We chose to eat out for every meal as we were only there for the weekend and there are so many great local spots, but the kitchen was large and equipped for whatever you’d like to cook. The location is GREAT. We walked to all of our favorite spots. Check-in and check-out took no time……

“The property was perfect for our weekend away! Overall the accommodations were clean, comfortable and well stocked. The only two notes are: The screen door is difficult to lock because of the keypad lock on the door.Also we didn’t realize the apartment was on the second floor which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for future guests. I think it should be mentioned for future guests.”

“There was a complete misunderstanding about the houses. The listing doesn’t say upstairs or downstairs so we were in the wrong part of the house and the second building wasn’t one of the places to stay in so someone had to leave for no reason for the miscommunication cause we had the wrong part of the house. There needs to be more in the listing stating upstairs and down stairs. We got the place for 8 and the bedrooms couldn’t sleep 8 without guys doubling up in beds. It wasn’t intentional to be……

“Maritza and John were very friendly hosts and we even met their lovely dog Sara! Central location to Greenport. You have access to the top floor of the house where it is both homely and inviting. Would stay here again”
