“Staff very friendly and service was good. Room very comfortable. However the main challenge was before we even arrived, when Expedia failed to transfer to the hotel the money I paid up front. Had to make too many phone calls to resolve the issue”

“This is the quintessential Bed and Breakfast with the loveliest hosts. Lesley provided a wonderful breakfast with the added bonus of lore about the home and the area. She even provided us with an itinerary for our day. My only regret was that we did not stay there longer.”

“The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.”

“The room was blah - not bad but nothing special, plainly decorated. Disappointed that the gym closed at 7 PM - for a spa hotel it should be open much later, many chain hotels now have 24/7 gym access. Breakfast was also unnspiring, although the service was fine. Eggs were overcooked (ordered over easy), sausages were dry, Just adequate and not up to par for a nice hotel. Nothing special, far from Wadebridge (7 miles, 16 minute drive) even though Wadebridge is in the hotel address - - I thought……

“Great little Inn. Staff were great and room lovely with very comfortable bed. Evening dinner was very good as was breakfast. Great value for money would definitely stay again.”

“Very handily placed hotel on the edge of Lostwithiel, a very pretty little town. My room was good, the bed comfortable and the bedding nice. I actually didn't get too hot when asleep like I usually do in hotels. The bathroom was fine too. The staff were especially nice (just right). Easy to park too (no extra cost)”
