“This is the perfect place to stay to explore the historical downtown streets of Ferndale. Located in the center of town and walkable to all of the favorite shops, we spent sometime visiting each one. You can tell the host has taken great care with the decor and unique pieces throughout the apartment. It felt like a much welcomed step back in time. This is a good home base for other must sees around the area. We definitely enjoyed our stay! ”

“I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. There was a guest there who had called in the afternoon and was able to get a room that night. The dining room was……

“Property was nice, beds were conforms, all amenities were there. Would have liked to have a way to cook the rooms down, there was a heater in the master but no fan. The only other was i wish there was a BBQ to enjoy with the weather, but i understand the liability. Easy access to the highway, not far from Ferndale or Eureka. Bear River Casino just down the highway of you want a little gambling. Would definitely stay there again when back in the area. ”
