“We like to go to Mendocino every year for my birthday. This cottage was the perfect place to stay. Cheri has thought of everything! From a fully equipped kitchen, to chilled glasses and water, to walking sticks and folding chairs, everything you need is here. The cottage is comfortable and relaxing, and walking distance to any place in town. And talk about a view! What a great way to wake up in the morning. Thank you so much, Cheri.”

“This is the perfect getaway place, right on the Mendocino Art Center campus with gardens around. The space is a good size, nicely furnished, and check-in and check-out are as easy as could be.”

“Almost impossible to locate initially. The directions were way too complicated, though I understood them after we got there. GPS took us one way. Directions to us another way. The strip of studios was hidden in plain sight. Plus, not the property’s fault: A huge event was being set up in the lawn right outside our property so parking was virtually impossible. There were no photographs of the outside of the property on the VRBO site, so we had no clue what we were looking for. Garden studio?……

“It was our first stay in a lighthouse keeper's inn. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was ample light entering the room from both the north and south sides. We stayed for two nights and the kitchen had ample utensils and plates to cook food from scratch and/or warm prepared food.The only thing that we would have had liked would be more rugs on the floor and more mats in the bathroom. We like to move around in the room barefooted, but the floors were too cold for us.The……

“The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The place was super clean and the kitchen worked well. There isn’t any comfortable furniture for sitting around and relaxing. With the heat while we were there it was a problem. The AC worked great. The dining table is beautiful and comfortable. The desk for working is good and the internet was reliable. The place is a bit dark. There are a lot of light fixtures but little natural light. The artwork is distinctive and……

The location in the quiet end of the street with parking right outside all within easy walking distance to the beach and the shops? The comfort of the home? Or the fabulous owner who will do whatever it takes to make you happy? We have stayed in many VBRO s all over the world but this was the best”

“Spectacular views of the ocean. Cute little studio room with all amenities. The kitchen. Was great, full fridge, gas stove, shower, ceiling fan and good air flow. The owner is a retired construction contractor so the place is nice. We loved the conversation starter questions left for us which we used instead of watching TV”
