From the welcome at reception to everyone we interacted with in the bar and restaurant, the people running the place were the stars of the show, even with such a stunning location, great pool and wonderful rooms. The restaurant menu is terrific - heavy because it really represents the Alentejo and that rich, country cuisine, but beautifully presented and delicious in every example we tried. There were a good range of snacks from the bar……
