“House accommodated us and was lovely inside. We enjoyed walking to the bay and around town. As others have mentioned there is a train that went by several times but it didn’t bother anyone in our group as we were expecting it. Would stay here again.”

It was very relaxing sitting out in the porch watching the kids fish. Amy was super accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would definitely stay there again.”

“It is a well loved old farm house, with dated but comfortable furniture and appliances. Upon arrival there was a noticeable smell (we just purchased an odor eliminating air freshener to cover). The bunk house had a musty off-putting smell, so we opted not to use it. We didn't use the hot tub as we couldn't figure out how to turn it on/off. It is a no outlet street that is very busy. The traffic greatly exceeded the 20mph speed limit. We also encountered a gentleman on a golf cart who went by……

“Property in ideal location that allowed for us to walk to downtown. Fenced in back yard was ideal for our dog. Weather was too cold to utilize outdoor decks. But they looked very inviting. ”

“Water was low at pier but our boat was able to dock all week. Lots of comfortable seating area and ease to downtown beach area. Mattresses were 5 stars. ”

“The host Merry was super informative and kept us in the loop when is SNOWED in Louisiana (never happens). All was good at the house though thank goodness. Easy directions to get in. The heat worked fantastic (not always the case in older homes) and the bed was super comfortable. We are going back in December and are going to book this house again!”
