From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. Lounging in the hammock under the shade tree during the day with the light breeze was like heaven on earth. Truly……

“Check in was a breeze, the communication with the owner was on point. I knew everything I needed before I got there. Even the internet password, the owner was very polite and helpful. I'm glad I was able to take my mother there on vacation. The downside was having to go home when it was over. But I went fishing every morning and night it was great (didn't catch anything but had a blast).”

“The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute. There are, I believe, 62 steps down to the dock, where the kids lived jumping off and enjoying the water. Thank you for having us. Loved the painting on the dining room wall. Best view around. ”

“This place was an absolute gem!! It was the perfect cozy place for our family of 6! It was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at. The dock was perfect for our fishing boat & even had its on boat ramp to use.The sunsets were amazing from the dock & even caught a few fish. “This place was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. It's the cutest tiny home with all the accommodations you can think of! The owner even left a thank you card with banana nut bread for us! There was everything you need including coffee, drinks, food, spices, etc. The porch is screened in, has lights for nighttime, and a ceiling fan. It was raining a lot the day we stayed so this was perfect for us! Also we wanted to fish and the owner let us use the boat dock, its a little hike down……
