“A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted.”

“Nightmare stay...or non stay! Finally arrived after driving along dirt roads for 30 mins trying to find the place. Google maps will take you to a deserted beach. Dragged suitcases 50 yards over rough pavers from gravel parking lot. No pillows in room, trash not emptied and greasy headboard on bed. “Relais il Mulino was an amazing experience I highly recommend anyone who is visiting Calabria to stay here. The hotel is surrounded by nature making it a peaceful and relaxing place.
