“We greatly enjoyed the house and close proximity to Bear Valley Ski Resort. We have young kids so we needed a close place in the event we had meltdowns at the slopes and needed to go back early. This was perfect. Lots of space and outdoor areas to explore far enough away from the highway. It's a short hike up to the house but just reframe as a workout and it does the trick. We'll definitely stay here again.”

On the second and third days we decided to leave the door unlocked, fearing if we were able to get it locked we would probably be locked out when we returned. “The property truly does not have any Wi-Fi or cell service. That was not a dealbreaker for me, but for entertainment, you are limited to the DVD collection that the owner has which is very large. The loft was huge and it served as a nice place for my son to play his video games. There is a beautiful view of the lake. It was very close to the snow and very cozy. Everything was clean. What I liked the most about the owner is that the place is stocked with firewood, and there was even firestarter……
