“Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and it’s very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. “This was a great place to stay. The location was great. Right by the lake with beautiful sunset views. About 20 minutes from town and a beautiful drive. All the comforts of home and as the description says no internet for a peaceful get away but phone service is no problem. Lots of DVDs to choose from. It was nice to disconnect. Definitely will be back. Be sure to take the Jefferson Ghost Walk tour, Busy B Ranch Wildlife Safari, and Ole Jiggers Caddo Lake Adventure boat tour. You won't……
