“Cabin was cozy, location was beautiful, plenty of outdoor activities, nice amenities and wildlife was wonderful. ”

“Our stay was great. The place was clean, and communication with the host was good. The first phone number provided did not pick up calls, but the other number was the gentleman- he was available for emails and calls with questions. The only con is that the exact house number was not provided. They do provide instructions but adding the exact house number will be easier for other guests. Also, exiting was hard as the code did not work, a resident had to open the gate for us. So a clear exit gate……

“We only stayed one night, but such a nice place for little more than a hotel room would have cost. We'll probably be back again and stay longer if we can arrange the travel in warmer weather. The property is large and scenic so would love to have a couple days to explore and relax here.”

“Thelma made us feel like we were staying with family. She was so kind and welcoming. My wife and I stayed here with our dog. The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The bed was super comfortable. Our dog loved being able to sniff around the property. We enjoyed the hot tub too! We felt super safe the whole time. We will definitely stay here again! The location was close to dollar general and brookshires, very convenient. ”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“I would have loved to given the place 5 stars cause it’s a beautiful place & Robbie the host is such a nice man. We will go back!!! Only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness is: The outdoor kitchen needs the gas grill replaced cause the bottom is rusted out & needs a little more TLC.”

“The mattress has a huge hole in the middle so you sink in. Towels in the bathrooms were tiny. It takes 2 to get dry. Other than that it was a nice place to stay! Beautiful scenery!”

“We truly loved this property! We didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted, but we enjoyed every minute while we were there. Chris was excellent at communicating and helping to make sure we found the place easily. Definitely recommend this property!!”
