“Our stay was highly influenced by the resort charging for 2 rooms instead of 1. I RESERVED ONE ROOM. If this is resolved then the review would be very different. The resort and staff are very good, the restaurant is convenient and very good. The room was wonderful.”

“Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. ”

“We loved the design of the villas. It's a beautiful place to be in and the views of the lagoon and the Mayan mountains were wonderful to look at every day. The only complaints we have about the place is the placement of the refrigerator and sink and the garbage by the sink. The bathroom was a little dark too. Otherwise, a lovely stay.”
